This patch only converts Hellcats 1.0 to Hellcats version 1.0.4. There is another patch program to convert 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 (I don't know of any patch for 1.0.1, or if this versions was ever officially released).
You must patch a "fresh" copy of Hellcats (one that has not been run before).
As a double check, the Finder's information about the version of Hellcats I used to make the patch indicates:

To find out what version you have, launch the program and select the about Hellcats menu item found in the apple menu; the version information can be found in the splash window. (some versions don't contain the correct version information in the Finder's "get info" window. and others are reported to lack version information in the splash window.)
What's New:
The major feature of version 1.0.4 is the support of Sound Manager 3.0 or greater. (AV users can now have sound for their game.)
Versions 1.01 to 1.03 were various bug fixes.
I've enclosed the "Pacific Conflict" data base because it is slightly larger and has a more recent modification date then the one that came on my version 1.0 disk.
